Setting up and conducting experimental lab work to validate specs and conceptual designs
Debugging and fixing
Design or redesign of mechanical components
Working with vendors to fabricate parts to specifications
Qualification
Required
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years
Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
Solid understanding in some or all of the following areas: Precision mechanical design; optical and opto-mechanical design; mechatronics
Some knowledge in heat transfer, vibrations, fluid dynamics and manufacturing processes
Hands on, highly motivated and a willing team player
