Responsibilities

Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks

Has demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise

Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military aircraft and weapons systems

Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation

Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management

Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military aircraft and weapons systems, associated support systems

Required

Must hold a Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university

Must hold a Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and must have an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience

Must have at least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering position, three (3) of which must be directly related to DoD systems

Must have demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise

Demonstrated experience providing Class Desk support within a Navy program office environment

Prior involvement with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs

Strong understanding of program management, acquisition processes, and international defense cooperation

Ability to liaise with stakeholders across U.S. Navy, partners, and industry to ensure program milestones and deliverables are met

Must have experience preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, specifications, and technical risk assessments for acoustics or sensor systems

Must have or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher

Must be a U.S. Citizen
