Responsibilities
Design and develop GIS software applications
Integrate geospatial data into applications
Develop and optimize spatial data algorithms
Collaborate with teams to define project requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve GIS application issues
Ensure GIS software meets performance and scalability requirements
Qualification
Required
TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship)
Bachelor's Degree
Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
Strong knowledge of spatial data formats (e.g., Shapefiles, GeoJSON)
Experience with geospatial libraries and APIs (e.g., GDAL, OGR)
Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Spatialite)
Understanding of mapping technologies and geospatial visualization
Experience with Python or other scripting languages for geospatial analysis
Design and develop GIS software applications
Integrate geospatial data into applications
Develop and optimize spatial data algorithms
Collaborate with teams to define project requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve GIS application issues
Ensure GIS software meets performance and scalability requirements
Preferred
Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms
Familiarity with remote sensing data and analysis
Knowledge of geospatial data processing techniques (e.g., raster analysis)
Understanding of geospatial data accuracy and validation
Proficiency in GIS data modeling and geodatabase design
Familiarity with GIS mobile applications and development
