Responsibilities
Perform rigorous quality control checks on translated documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client-specific guidelines
Review and verify the formatting, layout, and non-linguistic elements of documents
Handle specialized content areas such as In Vitro Diagnostics, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Devices, Patient-facing materials, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacy, Scientific Publications, and Investigator-facing documents
Utilize CAT tools such as XTM/Phrase/Trados/MemoQ to carry out QC tasks. Familiarity with integrated QA checks within these tools is essential
Adhere to the specific requirements of client-provided applications and tools
Ensure daily full-time availability of hours (4-6) during office hours and able to work on Fridays
Use Microsoft Office, particularly the Track Changes function in Word, to document and communicate QC findings
Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 months of experience in localization, with a focus on quality assurance and quality control
Experience with CAT tools (XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or similar). No OmegaT, as it is considered obsolete
Experience with QA tools like Xbench, Verifika, or integrated QA checks within CAT tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on the Track Changes function in Word
Advanced level in English (C1 or higher)
Must be able to commit to daily availability during working hours
