The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking interns for their Student Programs, offering valuable hands-on experience in various professional fields related to behavioral health and human services. Interns will engage in roles across departments such as Human Resources, Information Technology, and Communications, contributing to the effective operation of the statewide healthcare system while gaining exposure to different aspects of behavioral health.

Responsibilities

Learn about talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, and workforce planning within a large state agency

Gain experience in IT support, cybersecurity, data management, and digital transformation initiatives that support mental health services

Assist with public relations, content development, social media, and community outreach to promote mental health awareness and agency initiatives

Explore roles in finance, policy development, research, and program management, contributing to the effective operation of a statewide healthcare system

Required

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program related to the desired internship field
