They are seeking a Winter/Spring 2027 Tax Intern to provide exposure to public accounting and assist in tax-related tasks for various clients while gaining practical knowledge in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities
Work in a team-based environment to perform tax-related tasks for a variety of firm clients
Work as part of the tax team with Managers, and Partners, gradually taking on more challenging assignments while developing and enhancing technical and practical knowledge
Interact with clients and/or other firm members to obtain relevant information necessary to successfully complete assigned tasks
Prepare tax basis trial balances, work papers and other necessary documentation to support the accurate and timely preparation of client tax returns
Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries related to assigned tax engagements
Prepare various types of federal and state tax returns
Identify and communicate issues to managers or Partners related to a specific engagement
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Qualification
Required
Working toward Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
Minimum GPA of 3.20/4.00 or higher
Exhibit an understanding of basic accounting concepts
Be detail oriented, perform work accurately
Be organized and communicate status of engagements in a timely manner
Be proficient with MS Office
Incorporate feedback from supervisors in a timely manner
