Federal Contracts Manager (TS/SCI)

Responsibilities

Provide regulatory guidance and support to the business on the handling of customer contracting issues
Understand, adhere to, and promote company ethics and compliance policies
Communicate and correspond directly with customer contracting officials
Use functional experience and expertise in the review and administration of nondisclosure, teaming, and subcontracting agreements
Identify, develop and implement enhancements to internal U.S. government contract policy and processes, including templates and documents
Conduct proposal preparation including examination of RFP solicitation requirements and estimates, analyzing terms and conditions to evaluate risks to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications, and proposal submission
Travel to company locations or customer sites as necessary

Required

Must be a U.S. citizen and able to hold a U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance
Demonstrative business work experience in directing, managing, or supervising the customer contracting process with the U.S. federal government (including formation, negotiation, and administration activities) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent knowledge of and significant experience with U.S. acquisition regulations and all types of contracting procedures
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related discipline
Competent, accurate, proactive, resourceful, independent, organized, able to manage multiple contracting actions, prioritize effectively to meet deadlines, address risk, achieve results
An effective time manager with strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple departments and external customers
Adaptable, flexible, pragmatic and solution-oriented
Analytical approach to problem solving, risk assessment, and strategy
Articulate, with great communication and drafting skills
Excellent proposal development skills, strong ability to navigate complex negotiations, and excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to issue spot based on extensive past work experience and formal training received
Prepared to use technology tools with strong Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred

Commercial contracts legal knowledge preferred
Advanced degrees or certifications in contracts management preferred (e.g., NCMA, CPCM or CFCM, DAWIA)
Existing TS/SCI and full scope polygraph preferred
