Responsibilities

Find the most effective ways to respond to routine functional inquiries. Involves following procedures and precedents

Develop product specifications and design test procedures and standards

Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities

Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports

Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media

Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends

Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products

Design own monthly schedule and, if necessary, assign work to others in order to speed up office workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done

Help specialists set up and test new products or processes; install complex systems with guidance

Maintain and repair complex plant and machinery and supervise the work of team members and contractors to ensure that the plant and machinery meet operational requirements, including conformance with regulatory and organizational health, safety, and environmental standards
