Mid LevelRecruitTalent, LLC. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance the City’s security posture through effective cybersecurity services. The role involves designing frameworks, conducting vulnerability assessments, delivering training, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cybersecurity frameworks and controls aligned with NIST, CIS, and NERC CIP standards where applicable. The analyst will perform vulnerability scanning and penetration testing support, provide detailed reporting, and assist with the development and execution of incident response readiness assessments to ensure the City is prepared for security events
The Cybersecurity Analyst will also deliver security awareness training programs to reduce human-factor risks, enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) across City systems, and provide SOC support for threat monitoring, event analysis, and escalation. Responsibilities further include collaborating with City stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry requirements, producing audit-ready documentation, and maintaining detailed logs and reports to support regulatory or internal security reviews
By combining technical expertise with strong communication skills, the Cybersecurity Analyst will ensure the City has proactive defenses, effective response plans, and trained personnel to sustain a resilient security environment
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity frameworks and controls aligned with NIST, CIS, and NERC CIP standards
Experience in performing vulnerability scanning and penetration testing support
Ability to provide detailed reporting
Experience in developing and executing incident response readiness assessments
Experience in delivering security awareness training programs
Knowledge of enforcing multi-factor authentication (MFA) across systems
Experience in providing SOC support for threat monitoring, event analysis, and escalation
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry requirements
Experience in producing audit-ready documentation
Ability to maintain detailed logs and reports to support regulatory or internal security reviews
Strong communication skills
