Experienced Construction Project Engineer – Mechanical
UPM Mechanical is a company focused on mechanical construction projects, and they are seeking an Experienced Construction Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager in overseeing multiple projects from start to finish. The role involves managing procurement, maintaining document control, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities
Manage procurement from start to finish, including submittals, procurement tracking, purchase orders, and closeout documentation
Maintain document control, including updated drawing sets, specifications, meeting agendas, and file systems
Research, submit, track, and return RFIs
Assist the Project Manager with project startup and closeout processes
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on material orders and equipment deliveries
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in a similar role
General understanding of mechanical systems (plumbing, hydronics, sheet metal)
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
Bachelor's degree
Authorized to work in the United States
Clean background check
U.S. citizenship
Valid driver's license
Preferred
3–5 years of experience in mechanical construction project engineering
Advanced proficiency with project management tools and software
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
