Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive external communications strategy that includes print and digital content, media relations, and brand initiatives
Build a regular reporting cadence to measure the effectiveness of all external communications programs
Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of external communications and technical professionals
Serve as a steward of the company’s brand image and reputation
Maintain a strong sense of urgency and organization to manage multiple complex projects with varying deadlines

Required

Minimum of 15 years' experience in corporate communications or a similar role, with at least five years in a management position
Proven track record of managing teams, developing processes, and implementing successful communications strategies
A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of how communications influence business outcomes
Proven ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and think analytically
Strong knowledge of website, SEO, and content analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.)
Experience with video projects and a working understanding of creative design processes are highly desirable
Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and a strong command of AP Style are essential
A confident leader who is skilled in providing feedback and coaching team members
Must be able to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and internal stakeholders
