Responsibilities

Providing job coaching and mentoring to junior level processors on the intricacies of their specific business unit
Monitoring their respective work queues and providing direction to ensure that all aging work items and calculations are resolved in conjunction with the service level agreement timeframes
Validating and updating User Procedure Documentation (UPD)
Manually calculate and review pension benefits for plan participants
Contact participants to explain calculations or resolve participant/client related issues regarding pension benefits
Support monthly testing of various systems upgrades and releases
Participate in special departmental projects
Provide back-up coverage for other transaction processors and team Managers as needed
Document updates to User Procedure Documentation

Required

Bachelor's Degree (Mathematics, Finance of Business) or equivalent work experience
Defined Benefit knowledge and experience or related transaction processing experience preferred

Ability to work as a standout colleague while meeting individual timeliness, accuracy goals and quality standards
Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment

Ability to coach and instruct others
Strong PC Software skills (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and Word)
