Cost Accountant
SkinnyDipped is a women-led business located in Seattle, Washington, focusing on creating healthy snacks. The Cost Accountant will track and analyze operational costs, manage invoicing processes, and collaborate with teams to support financial health and decision-making.

Responsibilities
Monitor and track all operational costs including direct product costs as well as freight and logistics expenses to identify trends, patterns and areas for improvement
Own the invoicing process with our co-manufacturers including tolling variances and raw material chargebacks
Collaborate with Accounting team members and the Operations team to collect, analyze, verify and report accurate information – for example, identify trends in raw material costs and inventory levels
Manage accrued purchases
Support all Operations budget and forecast activities
Develop cost estimates and product P&Ls for new products or projects
Recommend changes to reduce costs and improve profitability
Analyze general ledger variances and suggest corrective action to meet annual accounting financial objectives
Assist with ad hoc projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Must represent the core values of SkinnyDipped
2-4 years of progressive accounting experience at a CPG manufacturing company
Strong systems skills – advanced knowledge of Excel and NetSuite experience required
Knowledge of GAAP and its implications
Strong presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills. Ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking but also just loves to figure stuff out
Detail oriented, organized and mathematically proficient
Ability to multi-task several important priorities simultaneously
Strong team player with a 'can-do' attitude, willing to take on challenges and support both individual and team goals
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to have fun and bring a sense of humor to work
Preferred
BS or BA in Finance, Accounting or other analytical field preferred
CPA or CMA a big plus
