Chemical Engineer Intern (Summer 2026)

Responsibilities
Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
Live and foster the IPL Corporate Value, and Participate in BEx initiatives and activities
Work with the operations team on a daily basis to learn and understand how the plant operates
Spend time understanding the business while being mentored by assigned manager and Senior Engineer
Collaborate with Operations, Management, and Engineering staff to complete given tasks
Involvement with researching and design of projects
Present findings/results on projects from internship at the end of the program
Qualification
Required
Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
