Responsibilities
Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set by the project managers based off client needs
Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets
Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, interface directly with the client or sub-consultants
Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clients
Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
Minimum of 5 years related work experience
Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration
Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects
Assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design
Hands-on involvement in permitting process
Significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients
Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements set by project managers
Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets
Interface directly with the client or sub-consultants under the direction of the Engineering Manager
Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clients
Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Licensed PE or ability and interest to obtain PE and/or be in active pursuit of registration
Thorough understanding of civil site development (i.e., Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water Management, Storm Water Design)
Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance and mentorship
