Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad

Perform Mechanical System design for water/wastewater projects

Perform engineering calculations to develop equipment and system performance parameters for the purpose of sizing equipment

Coordinate with equipment manufacturers to select the most technically acceptable design solutions

Follow company and industry design practices in development of designs

Develop engineering work products including Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), Mechanical arrangement drawings, and Equipment, Piping, and Valve specifications

Review manufacturer's or contractor's submittals, data, reports, etc., for conformance with B&V criteria

Required

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in engineering work

Minimum of 5 years related work experience

Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary

Preferred

Experience in most of following areas: Developing detailed project drawings and technical specifications

Equipment and systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities including: Pumping systems, blowers, aeration control valves, compressed air systems for pneumatic actuators, large bubble mixing, anaerobic digestion, heating water boilers, heat exchangers, and steel piping systems

Material selection and sizing of piping systems and equipment

Hydraulic principles related to water/wastewater facility design
