Responsibilities
Maintaining a robotics lab including building industrial robot work cells, maintaining industrial robot components, and maintaining spare part/tool inventory
Managing contract workers during surge assembly jobs
Participating in discussions with leadership on project /task progress and status
Attending and participating in regular project meetings
Manage workflows to improve process improvement
Maintain lab cleanliness and take responsibility for tool crib readiness
Qualification
Required
Must have at least 3 years of experience maintaining a lab or warehouse
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
Some experience working with PLC wiring and troubleshooting
Proficient with reading CAD drawings and assembly documentation
Excellent hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude
5 years experience with precision fabrication and assembly, including using power tools (welding, manual mill, band saw, drill press, etc.)
2 years experience in reading electrical schematics, mechanical schematics and the software used to read them
4 years minimum experience with industrial grade electrical wiring
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required (we do sponsor H1B transfer)
Preferred
Preferred electrical certifications, low or high power
Worked with 480v 3 phase powered industrial equipment
Good initiative and self-motivation; ability to work with little supervision
