Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, plan, and execute verification testing of radar and radar equipment subsystems

Coordinate across teams to understand product and research requirements to enable efficient and effective test execution

Lead a small team of UAS pilots or other test participants as needed to execute verification testing

Provide detailed feedback on hardware and software issues and user experience during testing for product improvement

Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues identified during testing

Develop and deploy test equipment necessary for verification testing

Execute test procedures, collect test data, and document test results

Operate Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) and hold a leadership position in the UAS operations and safety team

Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, methodologies, and safety practices

Required

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience with hardware and software verification testing

Ability to remain organized and work independently

Must be able to regularly lift, carry and move equipment, occasionally up to 50 pounds

Up to 25% travel may be required across North America

Bachelor of Science or higher degree in systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or other similar engineering discipline or equivalent military/industry experience

2 or more years in system test and verification

FAA Remote Pilot Certification (Part 107), or ability to complete certification within 90 days

This position requires a valid driver's license and eligibility to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy

Domestic travel as required, both air and ground; up to 25%
