Sr. Manager - Wholesale L&H Enterprise Applications

Responsibilities
Develop and execute the enterprise application strategy in alignment with corporate and departmental goals
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements or replacements to current systems
Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of professionals, fostering a high-performance culture
Oversee the planning and execution of multiple concurrent application projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery
Drive Agile or hybrid project methodologies within the team
Serve as the primary liaison between business units (e.g., agency operations, legal, compliance) and IT for application-related initiatives
Gather and prioritize business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications
Facilitate regular communication with executive sponsors and stakeholders to provide updates and manage expectations
Ensure all applications meet regulatory, security, and data governance standards
Collaborate with internal audit, legal, and compliance teams to ensure proper controls are in place
Maintain application documentation, disaster recovery plans, and support processes
Manage relationships with third-party software vendors and service providers
Qualification
Required
Experience with insurance agency applications
High PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
5-10 years of insurance management system (AMS) management experience
Experience with insurance agency management system implementation and optimization
Professional, organized, and strong communicator

The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
Preferred
Background in Accounting, Finance, Planning or Operational Leadership
Familiarity with Applied Epic agency management system
Life and Health licensed
