Licensed Psychologist — Brooklyn, NY (Full-Time School Day)
Knowledge Road is seeking a dedicated Licensed Psychologist to support the mental health and academic success of students in Brooklyn. The role involves providing essential psychological services, conducting assessments, and collaborating with school teams to implement individualized interventions.

Responsibilities
Provide direct, high-quality individual and group counseling services to students, as mandated by their Individualized Education Service Programs/Individualized Education Programs (IESP/IEP)
Address a comprehensive range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and complex psychological conditions
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning and educational recommendations
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique developmental and cultural needs of each student
Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create a holistic and supportive learning environment
Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in compliance with DOE regulations, HIPAA requirements, and Knowledge Road standards
Actively participate in IESP/IEP meetings, offering expert psychological insights and recommendations to guide student progress and educational planning
Qualification
Required
NYS license as a Licensed Psychologist
Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychological services to children and adolescents
Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and teletherapy platforms
NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to obtain prior to start
Preferred
Experience in a school-based setting or educational environment
Specialized training in child and adolescent therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, play therapy, family therapy)
Experience with psychological assessment and testing
