Responsibilities
Provide visionary leadership for the Product Design function, driving excellence in craft, user experience, and cross-functional collaboration
Define and evangelize a holistic design and experience strategy aligned with Noom’s mission and business objectives across both consumer and enterprise products
Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of designers and design leaders, cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous growth
Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and other teams to deliver seamless, engaging, and effective user experiences
Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle
Develop a clear perspective and roadmap for how Noom harnesses generative AI to unlock new opportunities, elevate design processes, and deliver differentiated user experiences
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in product design, with 7+ years in senior leadership roles
Proven success leading design organizations in high-growth, product-led companies
Experience with gamification and consumer-facing apps (strong plus)
A strong portfolio that demonstrates deep design expertise and a track record of delivering exceptional, user-centered experiences across platforms
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Experience scaling design teams, systems, and processes in complex, fast-paced environments
A thoughtful, forward-looking point of view on generative AI, with the ability to anticipate its impact and guide Noom's design strategy through this evolving wave
Passion for health, wellness, and behavior change (strong plus)
