Knowledge Road is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide critical psychological services to students in NYC Department of Education schools. The role involves delivering individualized interventions, conducting psychological assessments, and collaborating with school teams to support student mental health and academic achievement.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, high-quality individual and group counseling services to students, as mandated by their Individualized Education Service Programs/Individualized Education Programs (IESP/IEP)

Address a comprehensive range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and complex psychological conditions

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning and educational recommendations

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique developmental and cultural needs of each student

Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create a holistic and supportive learning environment

Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with DOE regulations, HIPAA requirements, and Knowledge Road standards

Actively participate in IESP/IEP meetings, offering expert psychological insights and recommendations to promote student progress and educational planning
