Knowledge Road is seeking a committed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to deliver essential psychological services to students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools. The role involves providing individualized interventions, collaborating with school teams and families to enhance student mental health and academic success.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct, high-quality individual and group counseling services to students, as required by their Individualized Education Service Programs/Individualized Education Programs (IESP/IEP)

Address a comprehensive range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and complex psychological conditions

Perform psychological assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning and educational recommendations

Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique developmental and cultural needs of each student

Partner closely with parents, teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to build a holistic and supportive learning environment

Keep meticulous and timely documentation of all services, progress, and outcomes in alignment with DOE regulations, HIPAA requirements, and Knowledge Road standards

Take an active role in IESP/IEP meetings, contributing expert psychological insights and recommendations to support student progress and educational planning
