Radiology Technologist - Part Time Evenings - Tampa Urgent Care

Responsibilities

Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients
Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies
Demonstrates analytical skills required for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels
Practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS
Provides medical administrative support, including registering incoming patients needing Pediatric Urgent Care services
Takes vital signs and rooms patients promptly and efficiently
Efficiently turns patient rooms over for next patient
Performs point of care testing, as ordered by the provider
At end of shift, leaves area ready for the next patient day
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize workflow and efficiency of the Urgent Care Clinic

Radiography program completionFlorida State Radiography LicenseARRT registeredBasic Life Support certificationPACSRIS proficiencyAnalytical skillsCollaboration skills

Required

Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography program
Florida State Radiography License
ARRT registered
Current Basic Life Support, AHA
