Electrical Engineering Technician
Tesla is a leading company in the electric vehicle and clean energy sector, seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to work closely with Compliance Engineers. This role involves preparing and testing products, managing test assets, and supporting the development of automated test systems while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Prepare and instrument test samples, execute tests, record, and analyze results on power electronics and battery storage systems
Assist with testing at in-house and local contract laboratories
Support the debug of products and sub-systems
Support the build and test of automated test equipment and peripherals
Rework prototypes and printed circuit board assemblies
Carry out duties as defined by the engineers
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
2 years + of experience in an engineering development environment, with NEC NFPA 70 experience, previous lab environment
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, High Voltage/Power Electronics experience
Strong soldering, electronics fabrication/prototyping, mechanical fabrication/prototyping skills, and wire harness skills
Experience with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, and trouble shooting skills
Multi-tasking skills, with the ability to self-prioritize
Preferred
3D CAD skills (preferred), schematic capture
