Responsibilities

Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of R&D projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance requirements for both 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies

Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and manufacturing, to drive efficient development processes and resolve any project-related challenges

Manages project timelines, budgets, and resources to optimize efficiency, ensuring milestones are met while maintaining high standards for product quality and safety

Monitors and evaluates the progress of R&D initiatives, identifying and addressing risks or delays to maintain a continuous, smooth workflow and adhere to project deadlines

Oversees the development and implementation of strategies to meet compliance standards, ensuring all products are developed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and relevant pharmaceutical regulations

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex Research and Development projects within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a proven track record of overseeing cross-functional teams, meeting critical milestones, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biology, business administration or a related field
