The Civil Engineering Intern will assist with drainage and stormwater analysis, perform water resources design, and support various engineering tasks under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer

Help design drainage and stormwater analysis and design

Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water Resources projects

Perform drafting CAD work

Perform calculations and analysis for design projects

Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents

Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors

Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

Qualification

HEC-RASHEC-HMSCivil EngineeringTeam building skillsCommunication skillsOrganization skills

Required

Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree

Great communication skills

Solid relationship and team building skills

Self-motivated and strong organization skills

Preferred

Experience with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS is preferred, however not required
