Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement software solutions following established SDLC methodologies
Construct, test, and deploy portions of complex COBOL-based systems
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and legacy system conversions
Use development tools to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve business and technical issues
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Validate scope, create development plans, and deliver on assigned technical projects
Apply specialized knowledge in cross-functional areas, legacy modernization, and integration tasks
Qualification
Required
6+ years of COBOL development experience in Unix/Linux environments
Strong experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
Proficiency in Unix/Linux command-line tools and shell scripting
Familiarity with SOAP/REST APIs and data interchange using XML/JSON
Exposure to C programming
AWS or any cloud platform experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Preferred
Experience with design systems and component-based design
Experience in enterprise or complex software product design
Design portfolio showcasing relevant UX/UI projects is required
