Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure PHP-based web applications
Provide Level 2/3 support for business-critical applications
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) for issue resolution and system enhancements
Monitor logs, system health, and performance metrics to proactively address potential issues
Perform root cause analysis and create documentation for recurring incidents
Assist in release management, patch updates, and system upgrades
Mentor junior developers and support engineers when necessary

Required

8+ years of experience in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Core PHP)

Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and system integrations
Experience in application support, production troubleshooting, and incident handling
Familiarity with Linux environments, Apache/Nginx servers, and basic shell scripting
Proficient in using tools like JIRA, Git, ServiceNow, or similar
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento
Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based environments
Prior experience in customer support or client-facing roles
