In this role, you will perform procedures, contribute to physician diagnosis, and ensure effective communication with patients and cardiologists while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities
You will verify physician order and review patient’s cardiac history prior to the procedure
You will prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures
You will collect clear data for physician analysis of cardiac structure and functioning
You will ensure reports are processed and report data is provided to physician at completion of procedure
You will maintain effective communication with patient; provides explanation procedures within scope of practice
You will maintain proactive and effective communication with cardiologist regarding any unusual clinical findings or history
Qualification
Required
Completion of an accredited; approved program in Sonography
Registry/registry eligible from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
BLS
One to three years' experience
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical
