Responsibilities
Project Management - planning and directing engineering, budgeting and scheduling activities
Conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses
Prepare and present technical reports and presentations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, preferably Fire Protection
Minimum of five (5) years of experience that may include a combination of Code Consulting, Smoke Control Design and Commissioning and Fire Protection System Design
Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills
Ability to present clear and technically sound fire protection engineering strategies to a diverse audience
Project management and fire protection engineering experience
Experience in code consulting, design of fire suppression and alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies in a project design environment
Preferred
Registered Fire Protection Engineer strongly desired (New York, New Jersey or New England)
New York or Massachusetts specific fire and building code experience preferred
