Chase is seeking a skilled IaaS Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on VMware's VCF and Red Hat OpenShift. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based infrastructure solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope

Drive work streams or projects involving one or more infrastructure engineering technologies

Collaborate with other platforms to architect and implement changes needed to resolve issues and modernize technology processes

Execute creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting within JPMC's private cloud offering

Strongly consider upstream and downstream data, systems, or technical implications, and advise on mitigation actions

Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Design and implement infrastructure solutions using VMware VCF and OpenShift

Ensure high availability and reliability of virtual environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application deployment

Troubleshoot system performance and other issues

Qualification

Required

Formal training or certification in Infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience specifically around virtualization

Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Experience with VMware VCF and Red Hat OpenShift

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Basic working knowledge of Infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)

Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the product
