In this role, you will assist in developing solutions for civil infrastructure and water resource needs, working collaboratively to improve infrastructure systems such as water and transportation.

Responsibilities
Performing technical research and design calculations
Learning design and modeling software, drafting figures, and preparing construction plan sets
Performing assigned design tasks, quantity calculations, and construction cost estimates
Researching construction materials and contacting/coordinating with construction material suppliers
Preparing technical memorandums, design reports, and permitting applications
Developing cost estimates
Conducting field data collection, performing site inspections and inventories, and performing construction observation, monitoring and reporting
Qualification
Required
You have 0+ years of engineering design experience and are looking for opportunities to build your technical foundation
You have experience with and/or are interested in civil infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, and water resources

You are an engineer-in-training (E.I.T. or F.E.) or have plans to obtain your E.I.T. or F.E. within 6 months

Willingness to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices
You understand the importance of time management and possess excellent organizational skills
Preferred
You're experienced in AutoCAD and Civil 3D or related CADD programs (not required, but this experience allows you to hit the ground running)
