Senior Enterprise Account Executive

Responsibilities
Lead complex, high-value sales cycles with minimal oversight, including advanced Qualification, Discovery, and deal structuring for enterprise clients
Develop and execute creative strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing relationships, often in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments
Own top-of-funnel and full-cycle sales activities—from prospecting and outreach to closing—while setting the standard for best practices and innovative approaches
Deliver compelling, customized platform demonstrations and thought leadership to C-level and executive stakeholders, leveraging deep product and industry knowledge
Analyze complex client needs and market data to craft tailored solutions and proposals that align with both client objectives and Morning Consult’s strategic goals
Maintain rigorous pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and providing insights to inform business strategy
Mentor and coach team members, sharing expertise, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
Contribute to the development of sales methodologies and processes, helping to shape the future of the Business Development team
Represent Morning Consult externally as a subject matter expert, building relationships with key industry leaders and partners
Continuously improve through feedback and proactively share actionable insights to drive team and organizational improvement
Perform other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company’s discretion
Qualification
Required
8+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong record of closing complex deals in SaaS, data, or market research environments
BS/BA or equivalent; advanced degree a plus
Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close high-value, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Deep intellectual curiosity and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences
Advanced knowledge of marketing, communications, data, or brand strategy
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive and C-level audiences
Proven ability to mentor, coach, and elevate team performance
Experience contributing to the development of sales processes, methodologies, or best practices
Commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of growth and inclusion
Preferred
Familiarity with survey research and its methods (highly valued, but not required)
