Acquisition System Engineer

They are seeking a highly motivated Acquisition System Engineer to provide Acquisition and Program Management Support for rapid research and development efforts, including developing acquisition strategies and documentation, supporting prototype acquisition planning, and providing advisory services during evaluations.

Responsibilities

Work with government technical and contracts staff developing acquisition strategies and acquisition documentation enabling program development and implementation
Support new prototype acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, and execution for Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Task Orders (TOs) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), as well as potential alternate contracting approaches such as Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) and Commercial Solutions Opening (CSOs)
Draft common acquisition artifacts such as statements of work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), In Scope Determinations, and proposal evaluation criteria
Assist Government customer in monitoring and managing program financial execution and planning
Help coordinate with other Program Offices for the transition of prototype software to baseline programs for long term operations & maintenance (O&M) support
Provide acquisition advisory services during technical and cost evaluations of proposals
Work with technical staff documenting technical and programmatic requirements
Effectively work with development teams to track technical progress, identify blockers to progress, and assess technical solutions
Support SAFe Agile program development processes and activities

Required

Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of degree
5+ years of government program management / contracting / acquisition experience
Experience with non-traditional/non-FAR acquisition vehicles a plus (IDIQ, BAA, OT, CSO, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and environment
Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional team
Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and communications skills
