Responsibilities
Full-charge bookkeeping for business and individual clients
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Sales tax filings and payroll prep
Preparation of client financials for review
Support with business and personal tax deliverables
Organize and manage client files for CPA review and final sign-off
Handle QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and other relevant accounting tools
Communicate directly with the principal CPA to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a small accounting firm or boutique CPA practice
Previous Experience with ProSeries Tax Tool(required)
Hands-on, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll support, and full-cycle accounting
Comfortable preparing files for tax season and supporting the final CPA review
Proficient in QuickBooks and Pearl (a plus if they have PeachTree, but not needed (Sage 50))
Experience with personal and business taxes
Candidate must have access to a quiet, professional remote setup and use their own equipment
