Responsibilities
ETL developer with minimum of 2-3 years of AbInitio/Informatica Experience
Should have skills in designing and developing extract, transform and load ETL processes
Strong understanding of Informatica ETL tool
Create and maintain adequate documentation of project ETL design, technical artifacts and ETL environment
Very Large Database and DW Implementation experience (20+ TBs) ,well versed in SQL, Oracle
Programming skills in a Linux/Unix environment, including shell scripting
Experience and ability to deliver results quickly in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
Proven ability to effectively manage their time and a desire to deliver results quickly and correctly
Understanding and working with data models to ensure data is structured appropriately for the target system
Creating and implementing the logic for extracting, transforming, and loading data
Identifying and resolving issues within the ETL processes and monitoring performance to ensure optimal functionality
Design and develop ETL workflows, graphs , mappings to process and transform data from source to target
Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability
Handle data extraction, transformation , cleansing and loading into data warehouse or data lakes
Ensure consistency and accuracy of integrated data. Identify and resolve data quality issues and ETL job failures
Develop test scenarios , test cases and execute functional testing
