Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, design and construction of local infrastructure projects including municipal roadways, trails, storm drains, drainage studies, master drainage plans and utilities
This position requires strong design experience and prefers project management experience and knowledge of working with local entities
Conduct and manage design and plan production
Manage clients and supervise technical staff
Provide training/mentorship of other engineers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas or transferable within 2 months
At least 5 years of experience in local infrastructure/public works, municipal roadway, drainage, and pedestrian facility design projects
Strong experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong technical H&H knowledge
Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and GIS required
Experience managing design and plan production
Ability to manage clients and supervise technical staff
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines
A positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success
Preferred
2-D H&H modeling experience preferred
Experience in project scope development, professional services fee development and staffing projects is a plus
