Architecture Practice Leader

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through construction
Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, and client communications
Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases
Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
Participate in business development efforts, including proposals, interviews, and client presentations
Ensure quality control and adherence to firm standards and best practices

Qualification

Required

Licensed Architect in Arizona; NCARB certification required
Minimum 15 years of professional architectural experience
Proven experience in leading complex projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, institutional, educational, civic)
Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools
Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and sustainable design practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Project Management experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution

Preferred

LEED Accreditation or other sustainability credentials
Experience with Design-Build or Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical expertise
