Responsibilities
Conduct research and development activities to create innovative solutions for complex engineering problems
Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo for mechanical design and drafting of schematics
Implement project scheduling techniques to ensure timely completion of projects
Perform root cause analysis to identify issues and develop effective solutions
Design and analyze systems using tools like Simulink, LabVIEW, and MATLAB
Apply knowledge of ASME codes & standards in the development of products
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to facilitate the transition from design to production
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs under various conditions
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Arduino for system integration
Ensure compliance with industry standards while maintaining quality control throughout the development process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical engineering principles
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and Creo
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) practices
Experience in system design, manufacturing processes, and CNC operations
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred
Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus
