Responsibilities
Provides high quality care to patients undergoing invasive cardiovascular, vascular and related surgical procedures
Assists radiologist and cardiologist with invasive diagnostic and therapeutic special procedures and maintains and operates equipment required to achieve the best possible radiographic diagnostic images
Qualification
Required
Associate's: equivalent plus one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy
Cardiovascular Interventional Therapy within 1 Year of hire
Two years in the cardiac cath lab and/or Interventional Radiology
Knowledge: Familiar with equipment and supplies used in the cardiovascular and special procedures areas
Familiar with supplies and equipment used during standard and specialized procedures
Demonstrates a very high level of radiographic accuracy and patient care while accomplishing the desired outcome of the procedure in a timely and efficient manner
Proficient with digital imaging and magnification techniques and fluoroscopy
