Responsibilities
Lead restoration and envelope projects from investigation to construction closeout
Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
Conduct and oversee field inspections, scaffold drops, and condition assessments
Produce detailed drawings, reports, and construction documents
Guide internal teams and mentor junior staff
Navigate NYC Building Code, FISP, and DOB filings with confidence
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience in exterior restoration, forensic architecture/engineering, or historic preservation (NYC experience preferred)
Strong working knowledge of FISP (Local Law 11), and NYC code/regulatory process
Track record of managing restoration projects and project teams
Skilled communicator who can manage demanding clients and complex approvals
Experience with mid-to-large scale multifamily or institutional buildings
Preferred
Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE)
QEWI certification (or willingness to obtain)
Field testing, measurement, or forensic diagnostics experience
Excellent technical writing/reporting (especially PCRs or DOB reports)
