Professional Track Teaching Faculty Position in Structural Engineering

Penn State University is seeking a full-time, professional track teaching faculty member in structural engineering within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising students, and contributing to departmental service and committee work.

Required

Doctoral degree in civil engineering or a closely related field, or expected to hold by the time of the appointment
Significant industry- and/or design-related U.S. experience
Demonstrated teaching experience through academic courses, professional conference presentations, or related activities
Intention to be licensed as a professional engineer (P.E.)

Preferred

M.S. degree with significant relevant industry experience
