Opinion Video Intern
The Washington Post is on a mission to deliver riveting storytelling for all of America, and they are seeking content interns to support their expanding video team. Interns will gain professional experience by working alongside producers and editors, assisting with daily production tasks, and contributing to community engagement efforts.

Responsibilities
Turn creator instincts into professional experience, working alongside producers, editors, and talent to bring a daily content operation to life
Help with daily production tasks, gathering assets and elements for rundowns
Assist with editing clips (longform and shortform)
Brainstorm and edit shoulder content (e.g. reaction clips and extras)
Track community sentiment and surface audience feedback
Support social posting
Qualification
Required
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Adobe After Effects or Apple Final Cut
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Canva for quick graphics and thumbnails
Preferred
Understanding of YouTube Studio basics (metadata, scheduling, analytics)
Experience running your own channel, page or fan account, including a keen sense of how to write platform-native social captions
