InternSchaumburg & Polk, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience while pursuing their education. This entry-level position involves creating CAD drawings, managing digital files, and participating in various tasks to support project delivery.

Responsibilities
Utilize instructions from staff to create computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, CAD drawings, reports and written communications under their guidance
Maintain a clean and organized work area and efficiently manage digital files for easy access by other team members
Establish and adhere to a work schedule with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week in blocks of at least three hours
Consistently submit completed assignments punctually to the supervisor
Adhere to company policies, procedures and professional standards governing behavior within the workplace
Take personal and professional responsibility for actions and activities within the company's setting
Apply academic knowledge effectively within practical settings at the company
Develop self-awareness regarding attitudes, values, behavioral patterns that influence work performance
Participate actively in conferences and other learning opportunities offered by the company
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program at an accredited university
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
