Assistant Project Manager - Building Management

The APM will focus on managing subcontractors, overseeing janitorial and security services, and implementing quality control management across all buildings involved in the project.

Responsibilities
Ensuring effective coordination, oversight, and management of the RSCW-4, RRSC, and PSS subcontractors
Administration of janitorial and security services, ensuring all contractual obligations are executed with professionalism
Implementing the USF Total Quality Control Management and Safety Programs across all buildings involved in the project
Establishing efficient communication channels and assigning tasks to Building Managers who supervise daily operations
Collaborating with the Project Manager by providing essential documentation required to secure and uphold the current certifications and licenses for each building, as stipulated in the Request for Proposal (RFP)
Ensuring that the Building Managers and the Maintenance Manager effectively coordinate the implementation of the Total Quality Management Program (TQMP) and the Quality Control Program
Aiding the Project Manager in developing and executing both short- and long-term Facility Operations, Maintenance, and Services (OM&S) plans, policies, and procedures
Assuming leadership of the project in instances where the Project Manager is unavailable
Overseeing the Building Managers and Maintenance Manager in the management of the technical library associated with the project
Assisting Building Managers and Maintenance Managers in maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Overseeing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) documentation and purchasing and inventory systems
Holding direct accountability for the daily management of the One Parkway Building (OPB)
Ensuring all operational aspects are running smoothly and efficiently
Reporting directly to the Project Manager for clear communication and information sharing from Building Managers and the Maintenance Manager
Qualification
Required
A minimum of five (5) years' experience in facility operations or management fields
A minimum of seven (7) years of practical facility management and operations experience
Strong analytic, communication, and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of PC Software
A Certificate for OSHA 10-hour General and 8-hour HAZWOPER
