The Junior Mobile Developer will build and maintain features for their Flutter mobile application, collaborating with various teams to deliver user-facing features and ensure a high-quality user experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain features in our Flutter mobile application
Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver user-facing features
Consume data from a custom GraphQL API and integrate it into app experiences
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from senior team members
Assist in testing, debugging, and improving app performance

Required

Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
1–2 years of experience in mobile app development (professional or strong personal projects)
Exposure to Flutter or similar cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Xamarin, etc.) with a willingness to learn Flutter quickly
Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL
Basic knowledge of Git and version control
Strong eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a collaborative team environment

Preferred

Experience working with Flutter in production
Understanding of GraphQL queries and mutations
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
Knowledge of testing frameworks (unit testing, widget testing in Flutter)
Interest in building faith-driven digital experiences
