They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax & Accounting Professional to provide exceptional service and strategic advice to their diverse clientele. The role involves preparing tax returns, reconciling accounts, conducting client meetings, and providing QuickBooks Online support.

Responsibilities

Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses using Lacerte tax software

Reconcile monthly accounts for our bookkeeping clients

Conduct monthly client meetings to discuss their financial books

Handle and process 1099s and payroll postings

Provide timely QuickBooks Online (QBO) support to clients and generate reports as needed

Review client accounts to proactively identify their accounting and tax needs

Utilize critical thinking and expertise to advise clients efficiently

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field

QuickBooks Online (QBO) Certification

Relevant experience in tax and accounting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred

CPA Candidate, EA Candidate, or CTEC (California Tax Education Council) registration

Experience with Lacerte tax software and TaxDome or other practice management software

Specialized knowledge in Estate & Trust Planning, Real Estate Tax Strategy, or Small Business Accounting (especially in Construction, Manufacturing, or Ecommerce)
