They are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Manager, Business Insights to lead the evaluation of media investments and their impact on sales across various channels, while translating findings into strategic recommendations that drive growth.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of media measurement frameworks (MMM, attribution, incrementality testing) to quantify ROI across TV, social, search, and retail media
Own the connection between media spend and sales outcomes, incorporating both short-term performance (sales lift, ROAS) and long-term impact (brand equity, market share)
Integrate syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI), Amazon Marketing Cloud, and retailer POS/eComm data into holistic insights
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure media insights are embedded in sales strategies, promotional planning, and eCommerce execution
Build and deliver executive-ready dashboards, reports, and presentations that highlight performance drivers and optimization opportunities
Serve as the subject matter expert on media effectiveness within the CPG context, staying ahead of measurement best practices
Manage external vendors and RFP processes to ensure the business is leveraging the best measurement partners, tools, and methodologies
Be proficient in utilizing AI tools to optimize reporting speed and analysis

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business insights, or media measurement, with at least 3+ years in CPG
Proven ability to connect marketing activity to commercial outcomes (sales, market share, velocity, distribution)
Expertise with syndicated retail data (Nielsen, IRI), Amazon Marketing Cloud, and retailer/eComm data sources
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Experience leading MMM, attribution, or advanced measurement approaches in CPG
Strong business storytelling and presentation skills with experience influencing senior leaders
Demonstrated leadership through either direct team management or cross-functional project leadership
Location: Austin, TX, or plans to relocate to Austin, TX
