Responsibilities
Oversee accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Lead the billing department to ensure accurate and timely claims, collections, and patient billing
Manage revenue cycle operations, including insurance reimbursements, denials, and compliance with healthcare regulations
Prepare financial reports and deliver insights to support leadership decision-making
Implement and enhance financial systems, processes, and internal controls
Partner with leadership to drive efficiency, compliance, and organizational growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
1–3 years of finance/accounting experience (healthcare or medical billing experience strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of GAAP, medical billing compliance, and revenue cycle management
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities
Proficiency with accounting software and medical billing/EHR systems
Preferred
Professional certifications preferred but not required
Certified Management Accountant (CMA): Valuable for roles involving cost accounting or budgeting in healthcare
Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP): Specialized in healthcare finance, revenue cycle, and compliance
